As my my first answer, i'd say I would not apply myself to go into space. I wouldn't go for these reasons. First, I'd hate the ride up because I get sick on roller coasters and fast moving objects. Second, I would miss my family. I'd be depressed if I was stuck with other people and couldn't see my family. Finally, there are a lot of "Mishaps" in space, and I'd rather be safe then sorry.
On the other hand, if I was forced to go into space, I really would bring these next items for my locker. I'd first put in a picture of my family. I'd bring this to remind me that they'll be waiting for me. Next, I would bring a couple of dozen books (24 books in all), because I love to read and I'd have alot of quiet time. Last but not least, I'd bring a video camera and a lap-top to have a live video chat with my grandparents and other family. These are my two answers for your questions and have a good week-end.
